Founder Member

A Founder member shall have the following joining structure

  • Founder membership shall be given for a period of 15 years upon payment of one-time non-refundable fee ("Membership Fee") of INR 20,000/- (inclusive of service tax)

The Benefits of Founder Member shall be as follows

  • The Founder Member shall also be called "The Club 100" member & their shall be displayed on the website of the Club.
  • The Founder Member shall receive a welcome kit from the Club upon payment of the Membership Fee
  • The Founder Member shall receive a Membership Certificate within a reasonable time on realization of payment
  • The Founder Member shall be entitled to receive a copy of the Club newsletter by electronic mail / post within 30 days of its release; the member shall also be entitled to receive copies of any other publications of the Club intended for Club members
  • The Founder Member shall receive free passes / tickets at discounted rates to select matches being participated in / organized by the Club
  • The Founder Member shall also be provided a login and password to access his / her details in the Club Portal and view the performance of the Club
  • The Founder Member shall be entitled to participate in get-togethers, lucky draws /competitions organized by the Club
  • Every year, 10 ("ten") Founder Member shall be selected to be a part of the Member's Council through a rotation policy shall have the right to extend additional benefits over and above those stated in this document.


Privilege Member

A Privilege membership shall have the following joining structure
  • Privilege membership shall be given for a period of 10 years upon payment of one-time non-refundable fee ("Membership Fee") of INR 50,000/- (inclusive of service tax)


The Benefits of a Privilege Membership shall be as follows

  • The Privilege Member shall receive a welcome kit from the Club upon payment of the Membership Fee
  • The Privilege Member shall receive a Membership Certificate within a reasonable time on realization of payment
  • The Privilege Member shall be entitled to receive a copy of the Club newsletter by electronic mail / post within 30 days of its release; the member shall also be entitled to receive copies of any other publications of the Club intended for Club members
  • The Privilege Member shall receive free passes / tickets at discounted rates to select matches organized by the Club
  • The Privilege Member shall also be provided a login and password to access his / her details in the Club Portal and view the performance of the Club
  • The Privilege Member shall be entitled to participate in get-togethers, lucky draws /competitions organized by the Club
  • Every year, 5("Five") Privilege Members shall be selected to be a part of the Member's Council through a rotation policy.
  • The Club shall have the right to extend additional benefits over and above those stated in this document.


Ordinary Member

  • An Ordinary Member shall pay INR 600/- (including service tax) as annual membership fee due and payable on the 1st of April of each financial year. The membership shall be valid for a period of 1 year and shall be renewed upon payment of the annual fee every year.
  • The Annual membership fee for existing Ordinary Members may be modified in future with the prior approval of the Board.
  • In case the member does not pay the annual fee within 3 months of the due date, the membership shall be suspended without notice.
  • In case the annual fee is overdue by 6 months, the membership shall be cancelled without notice, and the member will forfeit all the benefits accrued against his/ her membership account.

The Benefits of Ordinary Members:

  • The Ordinary Member shall receive a Welcome Kit from the Club upon payment of the Membership Fee
  • The Ordinary Member shall receive a Membership Certificate within a reasonable period upon realization of payment
  • The Ordinary Member shall be entitled to receive a copy of the Club Newsletter / publications periodically
  • The Ordinary Member shall received free passes/tickets at discounted rates to select matches organized by the Club
  • The Ordinary Member shall also be provided a login ID and password to access his / her details in the Club Portal and view the performance of the Club.
  • The Ordinary Member shall be entitled to participate in the get-togethers, lucky draws / competitions organized for them.
  • The Membership Committee shall have the right to extend any additional benefits to Ordinary Members over and above those stated above.

Honorary member

The Membership committee, at its sole discretion can nominate individuals of stature as Honorary members of the Club. These members shall not be entitled to membership benefits other than those specifically stated by the Membership Committee from time to time.

Patron

Patrons are individuals or organisations who voluntarily offer financial and professional assistance to the Club. The benefits extended to Patrons shall be decided by the Membership Committee from time to time.

Transfer of Membership

A member is not entitled to transfer his/her membership to any person except in cases where it is specifically permitted by the Board / Membership Committee

In the case of death of a Founder member / Privilege member, the legal heirs/successors of the deceased member shall be entitled to get the membership benefits from the date of approval of such transfer by the board till the expiry of membership. Any decision by the board in such matters shall be final and conclusive.

Members Council

The Members Council shall constitute the following

  • 10 persons from amongst the Founding Members - Selected every two years
  • 5 persons from amongst the Privilege Members - Selected every year
  • persons from amongst the Ordinary Members - Selected every year
  • 10 persons nominated by the Board
  • Individuals from 'Patrons' as decided by the Membership Committee from time to time


The duties and privileges of the Members Council are as follows;

  1. The Members Council shall, at its first annual meeting, elect a Chairman for the Council. The Chairman shall have a tenure of two years. No person can be a Chairman for more than two consecutive terms.
  2. The Council members shall be nominated to various Working Groups subject to the approval of the membership committee.
  3. The Members Council shall meet once every quarter
  4. The Members Council shall recommend member benefits and related activities to the Membership Committee
  5. The Council members shall be entitled to benefits decided by the Board from time to time The Board can alter the constitution of the Member's Council at any time.


Other Conditions

Taxes

A member shall be liable to pay all taxes/ charges/levies statutory or otherwise imposed by or payable to any Government/ local body or any other authority on membership fee/ any other charges arising out of purchase and / or use of Club membership other than that specifically mentioned in this document. Non-payment of levies and taxes shall amount to breach of contract and may result in termination of membership. For the sake of clarity, the member's liability to pay Taxes aforesaid tax shall include changes in rates to existing taxes (either prospective or retrospective), enactment of new taxes etc.

Change of Address

Change of address and changes in personal details, if any, should be informed to the Club through a written notification or through a written request delivered at the official Club Office or through the appropriate form of the Club website.

Arbitration and Jurisdiction

All or any disputes, differences or questions arising out of this transaction shall be settled by Arbitration by a sole arbitrator to be appointed by the Club. The arbitration proceedings shall be as per the provisions of the Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 including any amendments thereto.

All matters pertaining to these transactions shall be subject to the laws of the Union of India.

All matters pertaining to this transaction shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of civil courts in Calicut City. However, the Club shall have the option to approach any other court in the country.

Modifications in the Charter

The Membership Committee of the Board shall have exclusive rights to modify the Membership Charter.

A simple majority at the subsequent meeting of the Board shall ratify major modifications including matters pertaining to reduction of rights of members and increase in membership fees.
